Speed Check was created in 1999 to bring the SPECS safety camera system to the road safety market. Today, SCS is one of the UK's foremost providers of intelligent transport solutions for the road traffic market sector, and remains the sole provider of digital average speed enforcement to Police and highways authorities.
Based in Camberley, Surrey, we are a small, friendly and rapidly expanding team.
Speed Check is currently looking to fill several positions:
Project Manager
- Northern Ireland
Project Manager – M4 Corridor
Project Engineers – UK wide
All Project positions offer a rewarding package with a competitive basic salary, profit share scheme (up to 20% of salary), company car, laptop and phone.

Two Project Manager positions exist, in Northern Ireland and the M4 corridor.
To provide regional support with occasional travel to other parts of the UK. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of Project Management and an appreciation of basic Civil Engineering construction projects, telecommunications and CCTV/fibre optics.
Project Managers are responsible for the complete delivery of projects from initial site survey through to final testing and commissioning, along with ongoing training, maintenance and support. Working closely with specialist sub-contractors, the Police, consultant engineers, and building contractors, this is a challenging and rewarding role.
This role will manage permanent SPECS route management installations, temporary roadworks SPECS installations and a wide range of other ANPR based Intelligent Transportation Solutions, such as Journey Time Systems, Vehicle Access Control systems and more.

| Project Engineers |
|
Several Project Engineer positions exist, around the UK and Ireland.
To provide regional support with occasional travel to other parts of the UK/Ireland. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of Civil Engineering projects and an appreciation of electrical installation, telecommunications and CCTV/fibre optics.
Project Engineers are responsible for the support of projects from installation to completion, with ongoing maintenance and support. Working in partnership with Project Managers and Area Managers to deliver high service levels to the Highways Agency and their subcontractors.
This role will support permanent SPECS route management installations and temporary roadworks SPECS installations. |
