SCS was created in 1999 to bring the SPECS safety camera system to the road safety market. Today, SCS is one of the UK's foremost providers of intelligent transport solutions for the road traffic market sector, and remains the sole provider of digital average speed enforcement to Police and highways authorities.

Based in Camberley, Surrey, we are a small, friendly and rapidly expanding team.

SCS are now looking to fill several positions; current vacancies are detailed below, but we are always interested to hear from people who are interested in a career with a dynamic organization at the forefront of the ITS sector.


Development Engineer
A unique opportunity to join the successful development team at SCS, designing new products, supporting and enhancing existing systems.

The role would suit someone with experience of CCTV integration projects and with a wide range of experience or interest in computers / networking / communications. This role would mostly be office based in Camberley, Surrey. Some travel around the UK / Ireland would be expected, working with customers and installation partners.

Account Managers (Scotland/Northern England & South Eastern England)
Due to significant growth and completion of the SPECS3 distributed camera system, we are now looking for two additional Account Managers.Total sales control for all current & future accounts within a specified territory. This consultative, solution based Sales role is extremely varied and day to day may include; visiting existing customers, sales visits to potential customers, preparing proposals & quotations, researching potential market sectors, liaising with R&D and Operations, maintaining a CRM database, reporting current activities at fortnightly sales meetings, attending & presenting at conferences / seminars, attending tradeshows, writing papers & case studies etc.

Whilst this is a sales role, previous sales experience is not a pre- requisite. Candidates must be articulate, presentable, personableand comfortable dealing with multiple contacts and deadlines. Ideally of degree level education, experience of transportation / enforcement / CCTV / ANPR would be advantageous.

The M4 10-12 NMIS scheme was a Highways Agency project to upgrade the
communications infrastructure between junctions 10 and 12 of the M4.
Nottingham
Nottingham was the first ever Safety Camera Partnership to install a SPECS average speed enforcement system in 2000.
Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge is now successfully operating a unique combined speed
and weight enforcement system.
